What information you enter

The builder lets you enter information such as your name, contact details, work history, education, skills and summary. This information is supplied by you for the purpose of creating your resume.

Where your resume data is stored

The current builder stores your draft in your browser's local storage on your device so that it can restore your work on the same browser. The site does not require you to upload the resume to our server to use the core builder. Local browser storage is controlled by your browser and device, so you should use the device's normal security controls and clear browser storage when appropriate.

When you choose Print / Save PDF, the browser's own print function creates the file or print output. When you choose Export data, the browser creates a local JSON download. We do not receive those files through the builder's core workflow.

Do not enter unnecessary sensitive information

Only enter information you need for the resume. We recommend that you do not enter passwords, banking information, identity numbers, medical information, authentication codes, or other highly sensitive information unless you have a specific and lawful reason to include it in your own document.

Website and advertising data

Even though resume content is designed to remain in your browser, normal website requests can involve technical information such as IP address, browser information, device information, timestamps, and requested URLs. Our hosting/security provider may process such technical information to deliver and protect the site.

Where advertising is enabled, the site may use Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers in connection with ad delivery and measurement. Google requires publishers to disclose these practices in a privacy policy. Read How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.

Cookies and consent

Some cookies or similar technologies may be used by hosting, security, analytics, advertising, or consent-management services. Where consent is required by applicable law or by an advertising platform's rules, the site's applicable consent mechanism should be used. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings and manage Google's advertising preferences through your Google account or Google's advertising settings.

Data retention and deletion

Because resume drafts are stored locally in the browser, the practical way to remove a saved draft is to use the builder's Clear saved data control or clear the site's local storage through your browser. We do not maintain a resume database for the core builder.

Third-party services

The site may use third-party infrastructure and services, including Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery and security, and Google services for advertising where enabled. Third parties have their own terms and privacy notices, and their processing is governed by those services and applicable law.

Examples, templates and guides

Resume examples, templates and guides are provided for general educational and writing-support purposes. Examples are illustrative and are not intended to represent a real person's employment record. You are responsible for replacing example information with your own truthful information.

Not employment, legal, financial or immigration advice

ToolZeroo Resume is a software tool and general information resource. It is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, immigration adviser, lawyer, financial adviser, or other professional adviser. Nothing on the site creates an employment relationship, recruiter relationship, attorney-client relationship, or other professional relationship.

Our guides describe general resume-writing practices and may not reflect the requirements of every employer, country, profession, application system, or hiring process. We do not guarantee that a resume will pass any particular applicant tracking system, receive an interview, obtain employment, or produce any particular result.

Your responsibilities

• Check all names, dates, qualifications, job titles, contact details and achievements before you use a resume.
• Do not knowingly submit false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, unlawful, or fraudulent information.
• Keep your own copies of resumes and exported files. We are not a document backup service.
• Decide for yourself what information should be included in a job application and whether it is appropriate for a particular employer or jurisdiction.
• Do not use the site to distribute malware, abuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with other users or infrastructure.

Service availability and limitations

The site is provided as a general browser-based tool and may change, be unavailable temporarily, or contain errors. We aim to keep the builder useful and secure but do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its content are provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any consumer right, liability, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites, their content, privacy practices, availability, or terms, and you should review their information before using them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the service, technology, advertising arrangements, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above will be changed when material revisions are made.
