Rewrite the top third
Use the summary and skills sections to explain the direction you are moving toward. The first few lines should make your target role obvious.
Prioritize transferable achievements
Look through previous roles for evidence that maps to the new job: process improvement, stakeholder communication, project delivery, analysis, leadership or technical work.
Reduce irrelevant detail
You do not need to explain every task you performed in every past role. Give more space to work that supports the new direction.
